“Our Gift Aid increase was so big HMRC couldn’t believe it!”

HMRC delayed paying ExtraCare’s Gift Aid claim this year to conduct extra checks - because the increase was so big it was deemed suspicious! The HMRC alarm bells have now stopped ringing and HMRC have paid up, while ExtraCare’s increase in Gift Aid revenue will cover the EPOS installation costs in under a year.

ExtraCare installed EPRTouch Tills, Hubs and CDUs in their 36 shops during September 2025. Gift Aid sales conversion has risen from 31% to over 41% with a projected increase in Gift Aid income of around £150,000 for 2026, an increase in revenue of over 50%!
